Travel Meets Adventure — creating memories, one journey at a time
About Brenda

Pull up a chair. I'd love to hear where you've been.

I'm Brenda, the founder of Travel Meets Adventure LLC — and before I'm an advisor, I'm a traveler. I've been the one fumbling with a map, laughing through a language barrier, and standing somewhere so beautiful I forgot to take the picture.

That's why I do this work. I've seen what travel does to a family. I've watched a group of friends become closer in ten days than they had in ten years. I believe travel changes people — gently, permanently, and for the better.

How I work

Every itinerary begins with listening.

I don't open a booking screen when we first talk. I ask questions. Who's coming? What are you celebrating? What did you love about your last trip, and what would you change? Is anyone nervous, and about what?

By the time I recommend a destination, it isn't a guess — it's a reflection of what you told me. That's the difference between booking a vacation and designing a journey.

Why I do this

I'm not selling vacations. I'm helping you collect stories.

I genuinely love exploring the world. That's not a tagline — it's how I spend my life.

I know the excitement of planning a bucket-list trip, the checking-the-countdown kind. And I know what it feels like to finally stand somewhere you've dreamed about for years, quieter than you expected, a little teary, completely present.

I believe travel changes us. It brings families back together. It strengthens friendships. It opens our hearts to new cultures. It teaches us to slow down and be where we actually are.

I get just as excited planning your trip as you do taking it — because these are the stories you'll be telling for the rest of your life.

My story

How Travel Meets Adventure came to be.

  1. The first stamp

One trip changed the way I saw everything — the food, the faces, the ordinary streets that felt extraordinary. I came home different, and I never stopped chasing that feeling.

  2. The realization

Friends kept asking me to plan their trips. I noticed I wasn't researching destinations first — I was asking about their marriages, their kids, their birthdays, their fears.

  3. Travel Meets Adventure

I built the practice I wished existed: no scripts, no hard sell, no cookie-cutter packages. Just careful listening and thoughtfully designed journeys.

  4. Today

Custom group vacations are my specialty and my joy. Nothing compares to watching a family, a congregation, or a group of lifelong friends experience something together for the first time.

What I believe

Four things I won't compromise on.

  • Listening comes first

I want to know who you are before I recommend where you should go.

  • Honest guidance

If a destination isn't right for your group, I'll say so — and tell you why.

  • Travel that connects

Local hosts, real conversations, and the moments that turn strangers into friends.

  • No one left behind

Pacing, accessibility, and dietary needs handled quietly and with care.
