The practical side of a beautiful trip.
Great journeys are built on good paperwork. This is my reference shelf of official websites and trusted tools — the same sources I check for every itinerary I plan. Bookmark it, and come back whenever you're preparing to go.
Two shelves, one library.
Traveler Resources (you're here) is where you'll find the official tools — passports, visas, advisories, and trusted traveler programs. Travel Guides & Tips is where you'll find my own guides and advice, written from planning real trips for real travelers. Together, they cover the dreaming and the doing.

Passport & Document Renewal Checklist
A printable checklist that walks you through every document you need — passports, visas, entry approvals, licenses, and protection — on a timeline that starts twelve months out.
Free, no email required.
“Most travel problems start months before departure, with a document nobody checked.”
Work through it in order. Anything that raises a question, send it my way — I’d much rather answer early than fix it late.
Enter your trip date — I'll build your timeline.
The interactive version saves your progress and syncs across your devices when you're signed in.
Interactive renewal checklist
Tick items off as you go — your progress saves automatically, so you can come back any time and pick up where you left off.
When does your trip begin?
Add your departure date and each timeline window becomes a real set of dates.
Three things I tell every traveler.
Check every name against every document
The name on your airline ticket must match your passport exactly. Middle names matter on some international itineraries — when in doubt, include it.
Passport validity is not just the expiration date
Many countries require your passport to be valid six months beyond your return date, with two or more blank pages. I verify this for every client.
Enroll in STEP before every international trip
It takes five minutes, it's free, and it means the nearest U.S. embassy knows you're there if anything happens — weather, unrest, or emergency.
A real person is the best travel resource of all.
If a requirement is confusing or a form doesn't make sense, that's exactly what I'm here for. Send me your question — I'd rather answer it early than fix it at the airport.
Let's dream about your next adventure.
Every journey starts with a conversation — no pressure, no scripts, just two travelers talking about what you hope to feel when you come home.
