This October, I’m inviting you to join me in Jim Thorpe for a scenic train ride, time among the town’s historic streets, and dinner together on our way home. Enjoy a day away while the driving and group arrangements are handled.

I love how a change of season gives us something new to look forward to. A fall outing can become a favorite family memory—or the beginning of a tradition you want to repeat.
That’s what I have in mind for this trip.
A day to step away from the usual routine and enjoy somewhere with character. Time with your family, an outing with a friend you’ve been meaning to see, or a little adventure just for yourself.
We’ll travel together, enjoy the scenery by train, and leave room for you to explore at your own pace. I’ll be coming along as your escort, coordinating our group arrangements and keeping you informed throughout the day.

A Little Old-World Charm, Close to Home
Jim Thorpe’s historic buildings and mountain setting give it a character all its own. The railroad adds to that sense of stepping away from the everyday, making it a lovely place to spend a fall Saturday.
During our Fall Festival visit, you’ll have independent time to explore. Browse the shops, stop for lunch somewhere that catches your eye, or find a place to pause and enjoy the atmosphere.
There’s no prize for seeing everything. Find the little moments that make the day yours.

Of Course, We’re Taking the Train
A trip called All Aboard for Autumn needs a train ride, doesn’t it?
Our included scenic ride will give us time to settle into an enclosed coach and enjoy the mountain landscape together. Have your camera ready, but give yourself a little time to simply watch the scenery pass, too.
The train departure time and ride duration will be announced once scheduled. Seasonal foliage cannot be guaranteed.

We’ll End the Day Around the Table
At 5:30 PM, we’ll depart Jim Thorpe and head to Blue Mountain Family Restaurant for dinner on our return journey.
I like the idea of ending our outing together, with time to hear what everyone discovered before we head home.
Dinner from our preset group menu, designated included drinks, and dinner tips are covered. The menu and included drink selections will be shared before booking opens.
Additional menu items, drinks, upgrades, or extras outside the included selections are at your own expense.

Here’s How We’ll Spend Our Saturday
8:00 AM
Our Day Begins
Meet at our designated Harrisburg-area pickup location and board our private motorcoach. Our private driver will handle the journey while you settle in and enjoy the ride. The exact pickup address and boarding instructions will be announced.

Hello, Jim Thorpe
Arrive for our Fall Festival visit. Brenda will share the day’s arrangements and meeting instructions so you know where and when to reconnect with the group.
During Our Visit
All Aboard for the Scenic Ride
Enjoy the included scenic train ride with our group in an enclosed coach. The departure time and duration will be shared once scheduled.
During Our Visit
Explore Your Way
Enjoy independent time in town around our scheduled train ride. Browse the shops, take photographs, and choose your own lunch stop. Lunch and purchases during this time are at your own expense.
5:30 PM
Depart Jim Thorpe
We’ll leave Jim Thorpe and head toward our dinner stop. Follow the meeting and boarding instructions so everyone is ready for our scheduled departure.
On Our Return
Dinner Together
Stop at Blue Mountain Family Restaurant for our included preset group dinner, with designated drinks and dinner tips covered.
Approximately 9:00 PM
Home Again
We expect to arrive back at the same designated location where we met that morning.
